The 2018 Paul Garaudet, Meursault "Limozin" was a Merchant's Pick
Meursault Masterpiece Worth 2x The Price!
November 03, 2020
Few Meursaults rival the 2017 Garaudet "Le Limozin."
A mere 50 cases make their way out of Burgundy each year.
Why so few?
This captivating Chardonnay stays in France where it is snatched up by the resident of Burgundy.
Le Limozin is a tiny parcel that flanks two famous Meursault Premier Cru vineyards, Charmes and Genevrieres. Those Meursaults retail for $150+ per bottle... which makes Le Limozin a Burgundian treasure.
A classic Meursault, the 2017 Le Limozin will caress your palate with exotic notes of Anjou pear, white flowers, white currant, citrus oil, tangy acidity, a hint of lemon zest, a trace of vanilla, and a mouthwatering finish.
Beautifully textured and layered, the wine is unfiltered, which preserves the finer aromas and imparts lovely texture.
We sold out of the previous vintage in two days. Today's feature is the classically styled 2017.
Only a few readers will get to enjoy this wine.
Make sure you are one of them!
Enjoy!
