2021 Walter Hansel "South Slope" Pinot Noir

The 2021 Sonoma Pinots are brilliant, expressive wines.  Within Sonoma, the Russian River Valley Pinots are particularly sensational.

Fans of great California Pinot Noir will want to partake in this vintage.

The South Slope Vineyard from Walter Hansel is the highest elevation and the furthest south of all the Hansel vineyards.

The South Slope Vineyard grapes' DNA is French.  The style of the wine is New World with Old World charm.  The combination gives this Pinot its compelling mix of structure and fruit.

The 2021 Pinot Noir The South Slope Vineyard is a classic Steven Hansel wine. A rush of dark cherry, plum lavender, rose petal and licorice are all dialed up. This boisterous, exuberant Pinot Noir has a ton of character. Plush contours wrap it all together in style. The 2021 will be nearly impossible to resist on release. What a knock-out!"  Antonio Galloni

"Stephen Hansel turned out a brilliant set of 2021 Pinots... These are among the very finest Pinots I can remember tasting here. Best of all, [Hansel] wines remain exceedingly fairly priced, especially in today's environment. " Antonio Galloni

This Sonoma sensation arrives in limited supply at the end of October to early November.

Pinot Noir fans should grab what they can; it is also the perfect paring for Thanksgiving, which is a few weeks away.
