Back up the truck!  The 2022 Chateau Tour Bel Air is our first feature of the amazing 2022 Bordeaux that will be arriving over the coming months from this near-perfect vintage - a vintage being compared to the legendary 2010. 

Shipping now, the 2022 Chateau Tour Bel Air is a teaser for the bounty that awaits in the stunning First Growths, which will not be arriving until 2025.  

Most of those inbound 2022 Bordeaux will need time to age.

The good news?  This wine doesn’t!

Aromas of blackcurrants, plums, and muddled cherries with hints of dried flowers and tobacco leaf lead to a medium-bodied palate with firm, silky tannins and a flavorful, long finish.  This is a great example of quality Bordeaux at an attractive price that reveals the wonderful elements of the 2022 vintage. 

This Bordeaux packs a lot of punch for its price.  It hails from Saint-Emilion, known for its Cabernet Franc and Merlot-centric wines.  Since Saint-Emilion wines are typically not Cabernet-heavy in composition, they tend to be more approachable in their youth.

We love this wine's smooth tannins and balanced acidity.  It will pair perfectly with roasted duck, soft French cheeses, ratatouille, and a crispy baguette.

Enjoy it now; this mighty Bordeaux can easily age for another 5-7 years. ​
