If you love Super Tuscans, Le Macchiole is a must-have!  Le Macchiole is one of the original Super Tuscan producers.  They have been creating prized wines since the beginning of Bolgheri's rise in popularity and rival the same caliber of Ornenaila, Sassacaia, and Guado al Tasso.

Only 12 bottles of their prized "Messorio" flagship were imported, which, if you can find it, will cost nearly $275.  Fortunately, their Le Macchiole Bolgheri Rosso, while also limited, is equally special!

Le Macchiole showcases the raw power of the estate's wines!  It's a fantastic example of the Bordeaux-style blends that are being produced in Tuscany.  This Tuscan treat is 50% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah. 100%.  Delicious!

Le Macchiole winery practices biodynamic farming, and there are no gimmicks here. This Rosso is undoubtedly one of Tuscany's best red blends.
