A handful of wines (and producers) are so compelling regardless of vintage that I always have at home ready to enjoy.  

For Piedmont reds, Produttori del Barbaresco is that wine!  

It is often referred to as "The Greatest Buy In Barbaresco" and is known for its Burgundian style and flair.

The 2021 Produttori was awarded #7 Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines Of 2025.  This succulent Nebbiolo boasts violets, dried spices, rose petals, mushroom, tobacco, tangy cherry, and raspberry, along with hints of mint on the cool, inviting finish. An elegant frame of black and red cherries rounds out the polished finish with dusty, sweet tannins. Grip and structure will allow this wine to be enjoyed now or aged for a decade.

Produttori del Barbaresco exudes impressive Nebbiolo structure and finesse with hints of Pinot Noir-like cherry, though distinctly Barbaresco.

There aren't many wines that deliver this much pleasure and value for the money.  It is no wonder it is often called "The Greatest Buy In Barbaresco."
