The 2022 Domaine Dupeuble, Beaujolais was a Merchant's Pick
Big-time Beaujolais Bargain • Extraordinary value awaits!
October 24, 2024
Imagine this: you open six different reds for Thanksgiving, all priced between $18-$50 dollars. Your friends and family sip, swirl, and flip for their favorite, an $18 lip-smacking Beaujolais!
In our 20 years of business, we have never had a customer tell us they didn't love Dupeuble's Beajolais.
This Beaujolais rock-star is among our most requested wines of the last five years. It is an outrageously good wine, vintage, and value.
Don't want a heavy Cabernet? Want something with a bit more body than a Pinot Noir? Here you go! This glorious Gamay boasts blackberry, cassis, baking spice, and crushed rocks, all of which converge on a lush, long finish. A beautiful balance between fruit and acidity, Dupeuble Beaujolais reminds us of a $40 Cru Beaujolais with its depth and structure. It has lift, vibrancy, and loads of spice and minerality.
The best way to purchase this beauty is by the case(s). It is not to be confused with a Beaujolais Nouveau, a simple wine released right before Thanksgiving. Nor is it a Cru Beaujolais; a bit pricer and age-worthy (there are ten crus from the Beaujolais region).
While cheese is a must, you can pair this Gamay with grilled meats, duck, chicken, and hearty salads.
"Even after experiencing renowned crus from the region’s most-storied domaines, I continue to come back to this wine vintage after vintage. For the purity of fruit and bliss-inducing drinkability of each bottle, the Dupeubles’ wines are in a league of their own. Extraordinary value awaits those bargain-hunting pleasure seekers." This Beaujolais is also an ideal pairing for Thanksgiving, which is right around the corner.
Enjoy!
