The 2001 Casanova di Neri Tenuta Nuova was the #1 Wine Spectator Top 100 Wine.  A close second was the 100-point 2010 Casanova Tenuta Nuova. Since then, almost every vintage from Casanova di Neri has been a Montalcino masterpiece.  James Suckling awarded the 2015 a spot among his Top 100 Wines in which he declared this stunning Sangiovese "impresses from the first sip."  The 2019 was a historic vintage and the 2020 continues the tradition of great Brunello from this estate.
