Sauvignon Blanc grapes are grown all over the world.  From New Zealand to Napa Valley, some of the finest expressions of the grape come from France - in particular, Sancerre and Bordeaux.  

Bordeaux Blancs are a sensational alternative to Sancerre; the former often blends Sauvignon Blanc grapes with Semillon.  This blend makes an exceptionally refreshing wine and delicious wine experience.

Clos des Lunes is located in Sauternes, home to the finest dessert wines, among them Chateau d'Yquem.  Clos des Lune is not a dessert wine; their "Lune d'Argent" retains the region's gorgeous minerality and fruit elements in a dry white (Blanc Sec).  Unlike classic Sauternes, where the grapes are left on the vine to sweeten, Blanc Secs are picked early to capture the vibrant and refreshing character of the grapes.    

The Sauvignon Blanc grapes provide classic citrus notes of lemon and lime; the Semillon grapes add young passion fruit, salinity, and crisp stone fruit notes.
