The tannins are nearly silky for a young Howell Mountain Cabernet. Red/purplish fruit, lavender, spice, rose petal and pomegranate all build in this sumptuous, explosive Cabernet Sauvignon. Howell Mountain's micro-climate is what contributes to this wine's character.  A small region within Napa, the cool days force the grapes to struggle.  A smaller grape means a ration of less fruit to skin.  That means more texture and structure and less over-the-top fruit.
