At 600 feet above sea level, this stunning Sicilian red is elegant and refined - not jammy like many of the lowland Nero d'Avolas made today.

Complex aromas of fruit and spice are in harmony with an intoxicating hint of cinnamon on the backend.  This impeccable Sicilian red has notes of menthol and fresh dark cherry on the palate. Strawberry, fig, and dried plum are balanced by a dash of spice.  Seeing no oak, this wine is pure and delicious!

The topography of the vineyards is a virtual sanctuary surrounded by miles of wheat fields, which preserves the integrity of the organic vines. For that reason, many producers in the region have asked the winery for cuttings to use in their vineyards!
